We try to manage the schedule carefully so patient wait times are negligible and so our dental and hygiene professionals can fully dedicate their time to your planned treatment.
Our staff will set a specific time for your dental visit. Please arrive on time or a few minutes early to ensure you receive the comprehensive oral care that you require, without any significant wait time.
We do understand that unexpected events may cause a late arrival. If you are running late we will attempt to accommodate your needs without disrupting our scheduled time with other patients. But please let us know as quickly as you can. While we are masters of juggling, extra lead time helps!
If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, we ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours notice so your appointment time may be offered to another patient in need of care.
Your insurance plan is a contract between you and the insurance carrier/your employer. As such, you are responsible for your account, not the insurance carrier. We ask that you provide our front desk team with your policy number and coverage information and inform us of any changes to your current dental insurance policy and personal information.
Where possible, we will assist you in optimizing the benefits available under your policy. As a courtesy to you our patient care team will submit your claims to your insurance carrier. We offer electronic submission (EDI) where possible to expedite the claim process. Most payments are processed in a few days rather than a few weeks.
When extensive treatment is planned, we will send a detailed estimate or pre-determination to the insurance carrier(s) involved. In most cases, the response is sent to the insured/employee within 2-3 weeks. Please note that for privacy reasons, the insurer must inform and communicate with you as its client – not with the dental office.
As a convenience to you we accept major credit cards (Visa & MasterCard) and debit cards. Most patients make payment immediately following their treatment appointment.
We accept most insurance plans. All patients are expected to pay any portion of the cost of treatment not covered by their insurance plans (co-insurance) promptly.
In those rare cases where you are not able to settle payment on the day of treatment, we kindly ask that accounts be resolved within 30 days from the date treatment is delivered. In order to avoid late charges, prompt payment is advised.
We are always happy to discuss our payment options with you and when requested, we will be glad to consider a flexible payment plan, involving a series of post-dated payments.
The protection of personal information is an important principle in the provision of quality dental care to our patients. We understand the importance of protecting your personal information and we respect the privacy of all our patients.
